Faculty Activity System (FAS) |
| The
University of Central Florida is required by the State of Florida
to collect and report all information regarding instruction and
research activities for an academic year (summer, fall and spring
terms) on the Instruction and Research Data file. The information
reported on this file provides data for the review and management
of personnel assignments; the development of SUS request budgets
related to faculty activities; the reporting and auditing requirements
of the “Twelve Hour Law” Section 1012.945, Florida Statutes;
and the annual Expenditure Analysis. |
| Reporting
of this information is done through the Faculty Activity System
(FAS) web based application. The goal of FAS is to enable accurate
and complete reporting of academic assignments for all employees
performing instruction and/or research activities. |
| All
worksheets, Academic Assignment and End-of-Semester Reports, and
the Web Guide are accessible through FAS and can be printed to a
local printer of your choice. An e-mail message will be sent out
when the term becomes available, worksheets can then be printed.
A due date will be indicated within the e-mail message and must
be strictly adhered to. Academic Affairs has requested a listing
of all departments showing an incomplete status, immediately following
the completion deadline. |
