Linda
Sullivan joined the IR Office as Associate Director of Institutional
Research in November, 2005. She was previously Associate
University Registrar in the UCF Registrar's Office where
she was responsible for data and systems and served as Student
Records Functional Team Lead for the PeopleSoft 8.0 conversion.
Linda has been with UCF since 2000 and brings over eighteen
years administrative experience in higher education to the
IR Office. |

- Assist
the Director of Institutional Research and University
Data Administrator in carrying out the administrative
reporting & technical functions and responsibilities
of the Office of Institutional Research (IR).
- Serve
as the liaison (Functional Team Lead - Reporting Group)
between key personnel involved in PeopleSoft implementation
and operation and the Planning & Evaluation units
(Institutional Research, Operational Excellence and Assessment
Support, and University Analysis and Planning Support)
as well as other university personnel.
- Responsible
for understanding the reporting capability of the PeopleSoft
system.
- Serve
as the Functional Team Lead for the Data Warehouse implementation
project.
- Work
with users to identify data needs, make recommendations
and then develop methods for appropriate data collection,
presentation and final reporting.
- Monitor
the existing data systems and data access processes and
work with university personnel to develop new data systems
and processes that meet the university needs and facilitate
the utilization of these data for decision-making purposes.
- Coordinate
the authorization, development and release of university
data to any appropriate requestor; including administrators,
faculty, staff and external vendors.
- Monitor
the IR budget allocations and plan expenditures for all
three accounts. Make recommendations and authorized resource
allocations and the cost-effective use of funds.
- Serve
on university committees and participate in workgroups
where were IR representation is needed or deemed appropriate.
- Monitor
and coordinate the Department's Institutional Effectiveness
Plan and assist the Director in developing and monitoring
the Department's Strategic Plan, vision, and goals.
- Supervise
Coordinators within the office. Perform related duties
as required to support the IR office and accomplish the
duties of his/her assigned area. May serve for the Director
in his/her absence.
