Dr.
Sivakumar Jaganathan has joined the IR staff in the position
of Coordinator, Computer Applications. He comes to this office
from the Florida Solar Energy Center (FSEC), Cocoa, Florida,
where he held the position of Software Development Engineer
from 1995 through 2001. At FSEC he was primarily focused on
applied research and data acquisition/analysis. Dr. Jaganathan
has a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Modeling and Simulation
from UCF and Master of Science degrees in Engineering and Modeling
& Simulation from UCF. He has been with UCF since 1993. |

Position
Specifications
- Design,
development, implementation, integration, documentation
and maintenance of computer application systems as related
to Institutional Research reporting and all official university
reporting using both the university's legacy database and
the new Student Information System (PeopleSoft) and integrating
the two systems as needed
- Develop
integrated data systems, including dynamic access to data
via web technologies and an enterprise data warehouse
- Coordinate
requirements and facilitate end-user data needs.
